Ally Financial may have IPO next month: report
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Ally Financial Inc is hoping for an initial public offering of as much as $4.5 billion in
March, Reuters reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. The U.S. Treasury Department, with a 37% stake, will
be the only seller, the report added. The former financing arm of General Motors is the last of the big banks the U.S.
government has a stake in.
